Orlando Vacation ItinerariesOrlando and the surrounding area is full of things to do. With the theme parks, dinner theaters, water parks, and other attractions it is easy to get overwhelmed when planning your Orlando vacation. You could realistically spend a month in Orlando and central Florida and never do the same thing twice. We want to help you simplify your vacation planning and have developed some sample itineraries. Keep in mind that no set plan will work for everybody. For example, a family with 7 and 8 year old children probably wouldn't enjoy Islands of Adventure as much as they would enjoy the Disney theme parks. A group of college students on spring break could probably skip some of the Disney parks and spend that time at Wet 'n' Wild or Busch Gardens. Also the time of the year will also dictate what you will be able to do. If you go during a peak season (early summer, spring break, Thanksgiving, or Christmas) you will spend a lot more time in line than if you go during the off seasons (late January/early February, late summer, or early fall). For example, I was in Orlando in late January and never had to wait more than 5 minutes in a line for a ride. Many times we were able to get right back on the ride and do it again. That would never happen if you went during the week after Christmas when you can expect 1 or 2 hour waits for the more popular rides.
